My name is Ayush Upadhyay, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology. I am passionate about emerging technologies, particularly in Data Analysis, Project Management, Business Analysis, and Software Engineering. I recently completed an internship as a Data Analyst at Extern, where I gained valuable, in-depth experience in the field of data analysis. Through two impactful internships, I have demonstrated versatility—showcasing my Web Development skills at ITmakerz and applying analytical techniques as a Data Science Intern. In my previous position as a Data Scientist, I was primarily responsible for creating a model for assessing stress levels, which involved combining various data sources to calculate people's stress levels. At the same time, I was also in charge of designing and implementing chatbots that were specifically meant to respond to users' questions about stress. After then, the Telegram app was used to make these chatbots available to a large audience.

May 2022 - Aug 2022In this company where I worked as a web developer, my three-person team and I invented real-time group face time, which allows individuals to virtually meet together. It was my responsibility to integrate WebRTC webcam technology into the project in order to collect real-time images and videos. Implemented Firebase authentication to Sign Up/Log In using Google Account. Assisted in integrating chat functionalities from ChatEngine.IO by using its API.Used WebRTC and Socket.IO for real-time exchange of data, audio and video among participants in a conference call. Contributed to the new user interface that is expected to increase user retention by 20 percent.

Sign Language Detection
The approach mainly focuses on deaf people because it might be quite difficult for them to communicate with others. They can use hand gesture Machine Learning Algorithms to interact with the rest of the world. This would be processed via image analysis and concentrate on sign gestures. Then, using machine learning techniques, a classifier will be used to train the data sets and categorize the various indications and predict the results.
